| Although an experienced sportsmedicine and arthroscopic surgical specialist, many of Dr. Bush-Joseph's patients are quick to comment on his warm, compassionate bedside manner. A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, he is currently an Associate Professor and the Associate Director of the Rush Sportsmedicine Fellowship Program at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Bush-Joseph is a respected educator of medical students, residents, fellows, and practicing orthopaedic surgeons. He was named the Rush "Orthopaedic Educator of the Year" for 1998. His research expertise includes computerized gait analysis and knee reconstruction. Although having undergone ACL reconstructions on both knees, Dr. Bush-Joseph remains active in basketball, skiing, and golf. He also enjoys coaching his three children in soccer and little league. His wife Vicky is an attorney specializing in adoption and infertility law. |
