David A. Eschenbach, MD, a leading researcher in vaginitis for more than 20 years, is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington and Attending Physician of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Hospital Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Eschenbach is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, American Venereal Disease Association, and the American Gynecologic and Obstetrical Society. He is also a fellow for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Pharmacy Committee. Formerly, Dr. Eschenbach was on the Infectious Disease Committee at the University of Washington.

Dr. Eschenbach has authored more than 200 articles in such prestigious medical journals as The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), Journal of Infectious Disease, American Journal of Venereal Disease and The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

Dr. Eschenbach received his MD from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin and his BA from Lawrence College in Appleton, Wisconsin. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and his fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Washington.
