Maura N. Dickler, MD, is a Assistant Attending Physician on the Breast Cancer Medicine Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Dickler received her medical degree from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 1991, and is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at The University of Chicago Hospitals, followed by a clinical fellowship in hematology and oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Dickler's current research interests include the investigation of agents for the chemoprevention of breast cancer and the evaluation of new agents for the treatment of advanced disease. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Breast Diseases. Dr. Dickler has written abstracts and articles in such journals as Clinical Cancer Research and Journal of Clinical Oncology. She was the Assistant Editor of Medical Oncology for The Women's Oncology Review.
