Dr. Andrew Leibowitz graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1983. He subsequently completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology followed by fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology, and has a Special Certificate of Qualification in Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Leibowitz is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Surgery in the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is also an Associate Attending physician of The Mount Sinai Hospital. He is Co-director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Director of the Surgical Nutrition Support Service and Director of the Anesthesiology Critical Care Fellowship.
Dr. Leibowitz's clinical interests include perioperative care of the high-risk patient and intravenous nutritional support.
