Dr. Amy Chadburn received her MD from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed residency training in pathology at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. She trained in hematopathology and immunopathology with Dr. Daniel Knowles and served on the faculty of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons prior to joining our department in 1994.
Dr. Chadburn is currently Associate Professor of Pathology and Associate Director of the Immuno-pathology Laboratory. She is an accomplished hematopathologist who has contributed extensively to our understanding of lymphoproliferative disease through her numerous scientific publications.
Dr. Chadburn received the prestigious Arthur Purdy Stout Award in 1992 for the best paper published that year in the field of surgical pathology. Dr. Chadburn is an expert diagnostic hematopathologist who is equally knowledgeable in morphology, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and molecular biology.
