Cynthia Teeters is a social worker with The Center for
Special Studies AIDS program at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell
Center. Ms. Teeters has provided individual and family counseling to a
diverse population of HIV positive patients, both in the hospital and in
a clinic setting. In addition, she co-led a caregiver’s support group for
family/friends of hospitalized patients.
Ms. Teeters received her Bachelor of Science degree in
Social Work at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She obtained
her Master’s of Science degree from Columbia University School of Social
Work.
She is currently a certified social worker in the state of New York.
