Dr. David Tendler is an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. Following medical school, he trained in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, where he later received his training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Dr. Tendler serves as a practicing clinical Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Duke Medical Center where his primary activities are in teaching and patient care. He specializes in digestive diseases including gastroesophageal reflux disease, ulcer disease, colon cancer, viral hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, fatty liver, and hemochromatosis.
