Dr. André L.C. Denis is a Board Certified Reproductive
Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist practicing in Atlanta at the
Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine. He moved to Atlanta in 1998 from
Philadelphia specifically to co-found the Atlanta Center for Reproductive
Medicine.
Dr. Denis received his undergraduate education at the
Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore where he majored in Natural Sciences
with an interest in Public Health. Having completed his undergraduate work,
he was also able to fulfill the requirements of a Masters of Public Health
degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health
during his 4 years in Baltimore. From Hopkins, Dr. Denis went to the University
of Virginia in Charlottesville where he was awarded his medical degree
in 1986. A fascination with endocrinology and gynecology led to a change
in career direction away from public health toward a Residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology at the Jones Institute of the Eastern Virginia Medical School
in Norfolk, Virginia. This was followed by Fellowship training in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility under Luigi Mastroianni, MD at the University
of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Denis remained in Philadelphia after his training
was completed serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of the University
of Pennsylvania working at the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He
remained at that position for 6 years until moving to Atlanta in 1998 to
start the Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine together with a colleague
from Fellowship, Dr. Lisa Hasty. It is easy to understand why Dr. Denis
relocated by evaluating the center’s website at www.acrm.com.
