Dr. Carol Cardinale is a Clinical Fellow in Cardiology
at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City
and a Transesophageal Echocardiography Fellow in the Department of Echocardiography,
Division of Cardiology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Cardinale received her Bachelor of Arts degree from
Princeton University in 1987 and her medical degree from Harvard Medical
School in 1995. After receiving her medical degree, she trained in internal
medicine at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Currently, Dr. Cardinale
is conducting an investigation of the relationship between stroke and atherosclerotic
disease of the aorta. She is a member of the American Heart Association
as well as the American College of Cardiology.
